The course outline

The Graduate Teacher Programme from the NCE is a fantastic new ITE programme for schools, MATs and Teaching Schools that have previously used the Salaried School Direct route. It combines the extraordinary opportunity of the apprenticeship levy with outstanding ITE providers to deliver best value for money and highest quality - offering a PGCE, PGTA and QTS.

The Experience

Prior to Covid-19 the NCE has always focused on selecting venues to ensure that our learners will feel relaxed as they are removed from the daily demands placed upon them. The environment brings the time and space to absorb, reflect and fully digest the extensive content delivered throughout. During the past year we have strived to create engaging online events that deliver as much of the same approach as possible. As the situation develops we will aim to get back to meeting in our exceptional venues and delivering for our learners.

This price is for the GTP training.

Schools will pay a termly fee of £7,715 (England) to £9,510 (Inner London) and a one-off management fee of £2,000.

Eligibility

  • GCSE in English, Maths and Science at Grade C or above
  • An undergraduate degree

Additional Information

  • 15 months programme to NQT
  • 37 days of training outside of school hours
  • Training delivered by University and Teaching School partners
  • Learners must be employed by the Graduate Teacher Programme
  • Short 3 week second placement
